Into the Blogosphere I go...

Honestly, I am not a fan of blogging. As an information consumer I tend prefer a swift and targeted approach to finding the answer to my question rather than a cheerful aimless meander. I know this means I am less likely to stumble upon an unexpected treasure, but with the sheer volume of information on the internet stumbling can quickly become drowning. I am a passionate life-long learner and the joy of learning can easily send me down the proverbial rabbit hole. In the early days of RSS feed integration I excitedly set up a home page which followed various news sites and a hand-full of blogs I found interesting. I quickly discovered that it simply took too much of my time to follow all the great things people were doing and saying. As an information producer I am prone to wild perfectionism and a small dose of imposter syndrome ("is it good enough?" "theirs is so good!" "why would anyone want my opinion or resources?"). Now that I'm attempting to expand my role as an information creator/adapter/sharer I am going to 'cringe and bear it' and present my resources in blog form. Hopefully the immediacy of the format will encourage me to avoid perfectionist paralysis!

UPDATE: nope, nope it did not...
